Start out Farmville the Right Way

Friday, March 19th, 2010

Because you do have so many options, it can be a bit tricky initially to figure out where to begin in order to build your farm correctly.

Increase gradually

You want to get the most out of your territory when you’re playing in the game. This means that you will want to free a large portion of property so that you can deposit as many crops as viable. You do have to be careful about how much land you free at once though. It costs 15 coins to clear one plot of land, so if you clear too many at once, you won't have any coins left to buy the seeds you want to plant.

It's best to bit by bit expand your plowed plots of land so that you are always able to take full advantage of their planting possibility. When you are finished gathering your harvest, It is wise to replant them a.S.A.P.. Once you’ve done this it will be much easier to figure out how much more land you can handle to clear this time around. Following this pattern will speedily allow you to expand your farm while ensuring that you constantly have enough money to plant on all of your cleared plots.

Strategize Your Harvests

An alternative aspect of FarmVille that it can be tough to get the hang of at first is timing your harvests right. Each crop you deposit in the game will take a precise amount of time to mature. Once a crop is mature, you can harvest it. But don’t wait too long. If it takes you too long to get back, your crops will wilt and you'll just have to plow the land again and start again. It's central to plan your plantings so that you will be able to get back and check on your farm before this happens.

One of the huge things about FarmVille is that you can take it as sincerely as you want to take it. If you only want to log in once a week, that’s ok. Just make sure you plant crops that will survive that long. Once you start playing though, you probably won’t be able to stop.

Is a guide important for Farmville?

Monday, February 15th, 2010

I consider myself to be relatively well educated in the latest generation of social networking site games like Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, and such. That’s why when I started to see these FarmVille guides popping up all over the place I was kind of surprised. I mean, I can see why people might need some tips to get going in games like Mafia Wars, but FarmVille?

At this point though I hadn't actually played the game, but I didn't really think it could be all that complicated. I figured I should give it a shot though, just so that I could say I knew what I was talking about. And I was in for a rather big surprise. In pratically no time, I was out of money and had no crops to plant. I have to admit, there way more to this game than I had anticipated.

I eventually managed to dig myself out of my original hole and out of the red, but I still was not making that much progress. I started to think that maybe I needed to see what these guides were all about. I wasn't really expecting much, but since I hadn't done so well on my own either, I figured it was worth a shot.

So I picked up a guide called FarmVille secrets, and was pleasantly surprised by the tips I found in it. You wouldn’t think there were so many ways you could screw up a virtual farm, but believe me, you can. I was still stumbling along at level 6 when I got the guide after 2 weeks of playing regularly. Now I’m the proud owner of a plantation and a level 26 Sultan of Soil. And I still look back at my guide from time to time. If you’re having trouble getting into the swing of things in FarmVille, this guide is not a bad investment.

How to Make the Most Money in FarmVille

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

FarmVille is a great place to go to escape the rigors of everyday life. You can get back to nature and enjoy the peace and tranquility that comes from working on the land. However, not everything in FarmVille is an escape from the ordinary. You still need money for just about everything you do. You have to buy the seeds to plant, and you’ll even have to pay a small sum for each plot of land you plow.

These costs are easily managed of course because you’re harvesting and selling your crops for more than it cost to plant them. There are a lot of other items you can buy in the FarmVille market to decorate and build up your farm, and you won’t be able to get these without some significant sums of cash. Buying these items will also get you some much needed experience points to help you advance to the next level, so you’ll have to find a way to make sure you have enough money for all the discretionary items you want to buy.

Earnings Per Hour

Because you’ll be needing your coins for so much in FarmVille, you need to maximize the earning potential of your farm. The best way to do this is to figure out which crops pay out the most coins per hour. For example, strawberries sell for 35 coins per plot of land harvested and they take 4 hours to grow. Pumpkins, on the other hand, take 8 hours to grow and sell for 68 coins per plot of land harvested.

That means, for the same acreage planted, you’ll earn 8.75 coins per hour by planting strawberries, while the pumpkins will only get you 8.5 coins per hour. This may seem like a small difference, but these small amounts can add up fast. Of course, you won’t be getting your money’s worth unless you can harvest the crops as soon as they’re ready and immediately replant on that land.

A Quick Turnaround

If you’re not going to be able to get back to your farm for 8 hours, you’re much better off planting the pumpkins. The longer you leave a crop after it’s done maturing, the less you’ll be getting per hour once you harvest it. You can only make money fast on crops that mature quickly if you’re going to be able to harvest and replant as soon as they’re ready for sale. Make sure you take these details into consideration when you’re selecting your seeds at the Market, and you’ll be seeing your bank account swelling in no time.

FarmVille Cheats, Secrets, Tips and Strategies

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Having over 60 million gamers worldwide, FarmVille is no doubt the hottest online game in town at present. As such, the demand for FarmVille cheats, strategies and secrets have increased as well.

To dominate Farmville, the first thing you will need is money, and a lot of it. Apart from that, the aim of many is to earn up to a million dollars to get themselves a FarmVille villa, the highest reward to portray a dominant status.

If you are wondering how to own the Farmville villa, the answer is just as good as knowing how to earn money fast. The most efficient way to build up your collection of coins is the soy bean trick. Soy beans yield a huge return of coins once they harvested. Therefore, attempt to grow soy beans constantly. After a short period of time, you will make it passed level 20. From then on, you’ll have access to broccoli which is even more profitable than soy beans. Move on to plant these religiously and your money will add up at lightning speed.

One of the FarmVille tips, maximizing your earnings, is to think ahead and in advance. For example, forecast when you will be 12 hours from now, or when you will log in. If you time it just right, you can plant and then get ready to harvest at the normal times in my day without wasting any unnecessary time waiting. This method assures you obtain coins faster with much lesser work.

Offering help to your neighbors everyday will also benefit you with more coins. So, you may want to try adding neighbors from gaming forums and common groups so that you can help more farmers everyday. All you have to do is to continue this practice for a few weeks without fail, and after awhile you will become a wealthy farmer, rich enough to buy yourself a FarmVille villa. Farmville Land Expansion Questions Answered

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Due to the sheer number of questions related to Land Expansion, I have created this article. Hopefully this will help address some of the questions players have regarding Land Expansion.

What Land Expansions are currently available?

The Land Expansions that are currently available are as follows:

14 x 14: Available.

16 x 16: Available.

18 x 18: Available.

20 x 20: Available

22 x 22: Available.

24 x 24: Currently Unavailable.

What are the requirements for Land Expansion?

The Land Expansions requirements are as follows:

14 x 14: 8 Neighbors, 10,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash.

16 x 16: 10 Neighbors, 25,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash

18 x 18: 13 Neighbors and 50,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash

20 x 20: 16 Neighbors and 75,000 coins OR 20 Farm Cash

22 x 22: 20 Neighbors and 250,00 coins OR 30 Farm Cash

24 x 24: Currently Unavailable.

When will there be more Land Expansion?

Currently, there is no ETA as to when future Land Expansions will be unlocked as our developers are still fine tuning future releases. Our developers have been wonderful about releasing content and expansions in a timely manner thus far. Hopefully we will see more Land Expansion in the near future. Until then, we will have to be patient.

Can I just skip the first expansions and purchase later upgrades? Or do I have to buy the expansions in order?

Unfortunately, you must purchase the Land Expansions in order. That means if you wish to upgrade to 16 x 16, you must have already purchased the 14 x 14 expansion.

But I want to expand my farm now Why aren’t all of the expansions released at once?

I know everyone is eager to get more Land Expansion as quick as possible, but you need to remember that content releases are scheduled like this for a reason. If our developers were to release all of the content available for FarmVille all at once, or in the incorrect order, we would have fun for a few weeks/months, but then our users would soon be looking for more new content.

As such, developers release content in a specific order due to reasons the community cannot always be privy to. While it may make sense to you guys how things should be released, that does not always mean it is feasible, or in line with the developers vision for FarmVille. Just because we release new buildings/decorations, does not mean our developers have stopped working on other features of the game. Keep in mind, developing certain aspects of a game can take considerably longer than others.

In order to keep FarmVille from getting stale, and to ensure that our content releases are all polished and fully operational, they will take time and may be released in an order that might not make sense to our users.

Don’t worry though guys, Farmville has some cool stuff coming our way soon.

FarmVille Secrets And Cheats

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

With a huge amount of searches for Farmville secrets, tips and strategies online, it is no doubt the hottest online game in the world at present. According to October 2009 statistics, more than 56.1 million active players have been into this game online. It isn't just a simple game and it requires a certain level of management skills to progress through smoothly. And in the higher stages, it requires a longer time to progress towards the next level. This is when many start searching for Farmville cheats available.

These tips give you a good starting point to becoming a good Farmville player:

1. Building Experience Points

In Farmville, Experience is extremely important. Experience points enable you to get more ribbons and level quickly. Therefore, aim to build your Experience through constant harvesting.

2. Planting Seeds

Most players prefer to buy animals or vehicles rather than planting seeds. This shouldn't be the way. It is advisable to commence planting seeds at least until level 15 or else you will use up all your money on trees and animals. If it comes to that kind of situation, you won't have enough money to pay for them or grow your farm.

3. Buying Buildings

Work towards earning more money and use this money to buy buildings that will help you progress in the game and get some of the higher level ribbons. And in a period of time, you will be the rightful owner of the ,000,000 dream villa!

4. Save More Money

Do not waste your money around all at once. This is to avoid from getting yourself stuck in the following week due to the lack of funds to progress in the game. Therefore, earn up to 100,000 coins before you start being liberal with your spending.

5. Help Neighbors

Helping neighbors will give you plenty of extra coins and build relationships with other players. This helps you get the neighbor ribbons and they will in turn return the favors to you. Offer gifts to your neighbors, build rapport with them and allow a good nature and fun spirit to flow through the game. It is important for all players in a neighborhood to get along and help each other to grow the game.

6. Multi-Tasking

Try to multi-task your harvests. In other words, plan to plant many things at different time of the day that will also be ready at a specific time. This will help you to accomplish one big harvest that will earn you huge amount of coins.
