Farmville – Crops are Critical to Your Success

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

Creating a successful Farmville farm requires learning which crops will work for your playing habits, and using the highest experience producing crops when you have time.

When you start out playing Farmville and want to advance quickly you must learn about which crops will give you the best success. Planting and harvesting crops earns you experience points and coins but not all crops are created equal.

Berries are the most profitable choice but need the greatest time commitment on your part. For example, strawberries are usually one of your starting crops.  Strawberries are a fast growing fruit in Farmville, maturing and ready to harvest in only 4 hours. To speed up your startup efforts, covert virtually all your farm to strawberries. One word of caution, you are going to be busy. You need to harvest every 4 hours, or even more often if you don’t plant all the strawberries at the same time. Strawberries also wilt, and need replanting regularly.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, since you get additional points for planting your crops.

Since you will need to sleep sometime, you have to have a strategy for when you need to be away from the farm to sleep or work.  Pumpkins can be an excellent choice during these times. You have more time between harvests and wilting, allowing you a good nights sleep. It also helps keep your boss from yelling at you for logging into Farmville.

As you advance farther in the game, you will get the opportunity to begin planting blueberries. Blueberries are a good crop when you don’t have time to harvest for more than 8 hours or overnight. Replacing your pumpkin crops with blueberries will give you more experience points.

Raspberries are for the dedicated farmers. You will get the highest return from raspberries, but they take a great deal of playing time.  You will need to login every two hours to keep your farm running optimally with raspberries. If you want to move up levels quickly, raspberries would be a good choice of crop.

For those times when you need to be away for the PC for longer periods of times, rice is an excellent crop.  Rice allows you to be away for over 11 hours, giving you plenty of time for a day at work or a good nights sleep.

Other crops you must explore include grapes, tomatoes, coffee, and carrots. The crops all give you reasonable returns in experience while giving you more time than strawberries and raspberries. Depending on your level, grapes can give you up to 16 hours away from the computer.

Just like on a real farm, you have to plan your farms crops and use your resources smartly for the fastest ways to new levels. Don’t let your crops die on the vine while you’re away, when you can plant crops which continue producing through the night. The success of your Farmville enterprise is at stake. Once you know the correct techniques, your friends will be astonished as your farm flourishes and grows way beyond their experience.

Farmville Fertilizer Tip

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

There are a couple of messages you will receive on your newsfeed about fertilizing crops. One published item is a couple of avatars with a basket of puny produce and is a direct request from a neighbour to fertilize their land after they have planted a batch of seeds. The second published item is a bag of Super grow fertilizer and is a statement about the fact that one of your neighbours has just fertilized another neighbours farm and is thanking them for doing so, and basically wouldn’t it be neighbourly if you did the same back for that neighbour.

If you click on the published item with the two avatars and the puny produce you will be taken to that person’s farm and able to fertilise their plots. You will get a message box come up stating that you have fertilized someone’s farm and can another neighbour repay you and so on. You can click accept or not. After returning to your farm there will be a message on the top right hand corner of your farm saying Get your crops fertilized. Click on that and it will ask you to spread the word that your crops need fertilising. If you click accept then a direct request to fertilise your crops will be published with the two avatars and the puny produce and a neighbour may fertilise your crops.
If you go into the Super Grow published item to fertilize their crops it will take you to their farm and there will be 5 bags of fertilizer on the top left hand corner that you will be able to use to fertilize. Click on 5 of their plots avoiding the plots with the sparkles because they have already been fertilized. After you have fertilized their plots a message will come up saying let your neighbours know that you have performed this task and ask you to accept. When you accept it will publish that information and the neighbour may then repay the favour which means bigger and better crops for you and more XP for having fertilised a neighbours crops and also having yours fertilised.

Gaining quick XP is valuable to levelling up therefore going into your neighbours farms on the base of your FarmVille screen and visiting their farms regularly (it will state that their crops are looking puny will you fertilise) will give you lots and lots of XP not to mention coins. It will also ask you to remove weeds and so on which will give you XP. Your neighbours will need to have plots planted and or ploughed to fertilise their property.

The FarmVille Guide Page is a tremendous volume that permits you to do wonderful actions on your farm that will get you a lot more XP and coins, bonuses and really fast levelling up. It provides valuable information and works very successfully. See our reviews of the top farmville guides.

Zynga Farmville

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

If you want to level up quicker on Farmville, then you certainly have to know these simple yet helpful tips and tricks about the way to play the game more systematically.

First and most important, you want to choose what your aim is.  Is it farm expansion??  If yes, then focus on building more Farmville neighbors.

The initial way of getting cash is by leveling up and getting ribbons.  Every time you level up you get one note of money.  Also, most ribbons will give you a note of money when you earn them.  Because of these 2 things, it’s important to broaden your efforts when cropping plants, trees or animals and buy many alternative types continually.

the simplest way to grow quickly then is to clear more patches of land.  10 is a good number.  With this extra land you will be able to plant more, therefore earn much extra money.  By this time you’ve potentially noticed that its plenty about generating plenty of coins as fast as possible.

As a helpful Farmville hint when you begin its advocated that you start by planting strawberries, aubergine, wheat and even soybeans are good ( and perhaps the best ).  Before planting take a while to consider when you will be at the computer next.  If you can time it perfect your crops will be prepared at exactly the right time you get back to your game on Facebook.

If you want more Farmville money, the best way to gain more is to level up.  Each new level yields one free FV cash.  So if you would like to gain more, you want to understand how to stockpile EXP quickly and level up.

To stockpile EXP quickly, there are 2 main things that you should remember to level up swiftly.  You must know what crops will give you the most EXP and when to plant the crops for max experience points.  If you master these two concepts, you’ll be able to level up in virtually no time, thus gaining more FV money.

Many of the Farmville tips and tricks that you can use will help you to level up faster than normal some of the best ones to use are simple to find just by doing a search on Google.  What I am going to do here though is to show you some simple tips and tricks to help you start on Farmville.  For more Farmville Tips visit Farmville Secrets
