Xbox 360 And The Future Of Gaming

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Xbox 360 games offer you some of one of the most incredibly immersive experiences anywhere, on the web or off. With blockbuster titles like Halo, Fallout, Call of Duty, and Panzer General: Allied Assault, that it is difficult to see what else could possibly increase gameplay any a lot more than the lengthy way it’s already come. Right after all, it wasn’t but a couple of years ago that clunky old-school controllers have been still becoming employed. Nowadays the user interface has enhanced noticeably, with on-board accelerometers to process spatial information for human kinetics in gaming. But some thing for the horizon could be one of the most revolutionary factor to hit videogaming at residence in our time.

Xbox 360 games could be closely matched to Xbox 360 Components for one of the most seamless experience of genuinely immersive gameplay. But what if there were no will need for any Xbox 360 components save a single? One über-accessory to replace them all? Lengthy the stuff of science fiction and comic books, this most recent of Xbox 360 add-ons would also be the last. It will be the only thing necessary to play all of the Xbox 360 games created from then on.

By no means heard of it? That is simply because it was only lately announced by Microsoft. It’s a electronic digital eye of sorts that will obliterate the will need for physical controllers, hardware which is held in one’s hand. This new soon-to-come electronic eye will sense player movements in space, so hand-held controllers with built-in accelerometers will no longer be required. This most recent advance in gaming technologies is due out within the subsequent year or two, and will be mounted separately in the console. But all user movement information is going to be supplied to the console just a similar. Try to picture playing videogames with practically nothing a lot more than your personal body and system actions!

This veritable magic eye that Microsoft continues to be developing will even track eye movements to alter point-of-view inside a first-person shooter. Picture Halo or Call of Duty or Medal of Honor with out pesky controllers but with instead a light gun as well as your very own entire body and your personal eyes! As you turn right the screenshot reveals scenery to your right side, and when you turn left the panorama shifts with you!

So while today’s Xbox 360 games are quite sophisticated, the Xbox components to arrive will call for computer software that rethinks the entire notion of onscreen and off. Hardware and software exist in a symbiotic relationship, and it will probably be fascinating to determine what transpires following now that the hardware has taken a quantum leap forward!

Try The Best Xbox 360 Games Today

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

It was not long ago that lines of people eagerly waited for retail stores to open up so they could purchase the newly released Xbox 360. Of all the gaming consoles on the market, the Xbox 360 continues to lead the market and chances are good that you have one in your home. No matter how old gamers are, one of the most important things to Xbox 360 video game lovers is finding the best Xbox 360 games.

Most gamers have two things in common, whether they play on a Microsoft Xbox, a PS2 or some other type of PC games and consoles. One is that serious gamers will always work hard to really conquer the game and work through every single level until they reach the final goal. Along with mastering the games, they also want to earn the highest scores, which will give them bragging rights among their friends and within the gaming community in general.

Secondly, it is quite common to find that Xbox 360 video gamers are never quite satisfied with the games they already have. They always want new challenges and new game scenarios that will push them and test them. Because of this, there is a constant quest among them to find and acquire the best Xbox 360 games available.

While there are people of all ages who enjoy playing Xbox games, the reality is that the vast majority of those who really get heavily into the games and who really want to set high scores and “beat the games” are teenagers. Teens, especially the boys, simply love to play these video games and there is no question that some of the top games are well loved by hundreds of thousands of teenagers, both in the United States and all around the globe.

If you were to ask a number of teens what they think are the best games, then you might end up with a wide range of answers because there are hundreds of different games available for the Xbox 360 console. Different games appeal to different age groups and personalities as well, so that is why there will be many different answers to that question.

If you are really serious about knowing the top Xbox 360 games, then look at the games that have sold the most. When people are willing to step up and part with their hard earned money, especially if they are financially strapped teens, then you can bet that those popular and good selling games offer a lot of entertainment and gaming value.

Another really good resource for learning what other people think are the best Xbox 360 games is to check out some gaming forums. There are forums where people only talk about the Xbox and the games that are available for it. The Xbox 360 forums are a great way to find out what other people like and to get advice, as well as learn tricks and cheats for a specific game you might already have.

Natal- is it going to be any good?

Monday, November 30th, 2009

After watching E3 I was extremly impressed by Microsoft's presentation. I was getting a bit bored until my favourite director Spielberg walked onto the stage hinting at a new Microsoft gadget.

MIlo was then showed off to the world by British company Lionhead. The game demo that the woman was playing enabled her to hold a conversation with a boy in the game. Although critics have said, “What’s the point” you can’t say that isn’t cool.

You are able to actually use your whole body in the games. For example you can hold an invisible steering wheel stepping in and out to accelerate and brake respectively. Anything from golf to penalty shootouts can be more realstic thanks to full body control. This could actually be the future of games altogether not just a fancy wavey wand. To make the games unique to each user, Natal can actually scan real life things so that you can use your own football or golf club.

If this is more than just hype then this is going to be huge. On top of this, at the recent Tokyo game show major developers such as Sega and Capcom have both announced their backing of the hardware and this is on top of all the other major developers which include EA, Activison and of course the expected Microsoft Game Studios who are headlining the stuff.

For more information on this amazing new gadget it might be worth checking out a gadget blog.

Earn XBOX 360 Achievements The Easy Way!

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

The XBOX 360 achievements system is amongst the main contributors to its increasing popularity.  It is a excellent concept wherein you build points by playing XBOX 360 titles and finishing the various levels and challenges within. When you have amassed enough points you are able to redeem them for actual rewards in the form of downloadable content from Microsoft. There’s a lot more to it than this however.

Getting points is a simple job for veteran gameplayers at freedom to spend hours beating challenging games and accomplishments.  But what about those of us who cannot spend hours at a push in making an attempt to unlock XBOX 360 achievements? Well you don’t have to feel hard done by anymore.

Here is what you can do to glean the highest points on XBOX 360 with minimum hours of playing;

Firstly you can choose the easiest games for the XBOX 360. Remember that a simple title will mean straightforward gameplay aswell and some straightforward points to gain your XBOX 360 achievements. Some of the less complicated games currently available are King Kong, Madden NFL, Fight Night Round 3 and teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to name but a few.

Particular games could consist of easy parts alongside difficult parts. Basically you get the most points for finishing the difficult parts, but that may be very time consuming.  Try to earn as many XBOX 360 achievements as feasible from the straightforward levels and you might be onto a winner.

Lastly, it might be a great idea to concentrate on your skills. You could be really good at sporting games and not so much at ‘first person shooters’. Therefore, get on with the soccer and keep the gun away for a while! Just for the sake of getting XBOX 360 achievements, it’s best not to play the titles from genres you don’t prefer. You might finish up with little points but a lot of frustration that way.

There are a large amount of XBOX 360 achievements guides available online, which can provide you with updated information on the simplest way to maximize your points total simply. So you may wish to keep a watch on these sites.

By employing a little bit of strategy and guile you can pile on the points while enjoying quality gaming time.  So best of luck with your XBOX 360 achievements and aim at the stars!

Possibly the biggest console feature they announced was Project Natal. Natal is meant to be the next step in gaming, controller free gaming which will allow you to play your games by moving your body. The 3D camera will allow you to activate chats, games and videos using the power of your voice, you will also be able to log into Xbox Live by using the facial recognition technology within the camera. And finally, the ability to scroll through the Xbox 360 dashboard by simply using your hand. Currently, no release date has been announced for this awesome new console feature.

  • Dead Space Extraction

They also announced the vitality sensor which is a thumb grip, similar to the ones used in hospitals, to measure your pulse rate. They say that this new feature will be incorporated into a series of games that are designed to help you keep fit and relax.

Although there were only 2 conferences on the second day, Sony still managed to cause some buzz with their conference where they announced some massive game releases, some new console features aswell as a brand new console announcement.

You can expect to see the following PS3 releases in the near future:

  • Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
  • Heavy Rain
  • Massive Action Game
  • Agent
  • Gran Turismo 5
  • God of War 3
  • The Last Guardian
  • Modnation Racing

As for hardware announcements, they announced that they are developing some technology similar to the Wii. The new motion tech by Sony will require 2 controllers, just like the Wii, but instead of a sensor bar, it uses a camera, just like Microsoft’s Project Natal. They plan to release a series of games that are designed specifically for this new tech, aswell as incorporating it into their current games.

Sony ended their conference with a brand new console announcement, the PSP Go. The new PSP Go will be a smaller and lighter version of the current PSP. The PSP Go features an internal flash drive which allows you to storage games rather than carrying around discs. It also contains build in WiFi, Bluetooth and a slot for a flash drive to gain extra storage space.

That was the end of all the conferences from the big publishers and console developers for this year, I’m pretty sure we’ll be kept busy with all of that stuff until next years E3.

Keep up-to-date with the latest video game news aswell as some video game reviews at ScroobyOnline.
