Why You Should Use A Mage Leveling Guide
Friday, July 30th, 2010When searching for a leveling guide today, you will find there is a lot of talk going on. Endless debates are going on about which is the best mage leveling guide – and if you should use a leveling guide at all.
There are some people claiming that leveling guides would in fact destroy the atmosphere in WoW. By using a leveling guide to level up – in their opinion – you miss the story, the quest descriptions and lots of background information.
Others say they leveled properly with their first character and don’t need to see every corner of the world all over again. These players simply want to ding 80 and start enjoying the endgame content. They don’t want to go through the frustrating process of leveling again and again.
I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.
I guess WoW would become a really strange game if all the players would use a mage leveling guide to rush through the world to get to the end game content.
They would kind of act like robots, ignoring everyone and everything. Kind of like commuters going to work in the morning.
But the truth is, that Blizzard has not banned leveling add-ons. Using them is no offence to their ToA. The truth is, that the game mechanics right now reward playing solo. There are few moments when you actually need to interact with other players.
In fact, would you rather give up playing World of WarCraft because you’re annoyed at how long it takes to level up? Or would you rather just get the leveling over with in the fastest and easiest way possible?
Guess what Blizzard wants. I think it’s a win-win situation. If you keep on playing both you and Blizzard win. You have more fun and they earn some money.
Folks, just enjoy the game your way and stop getting irritated if somebody has a different opinion on your mage leveling guide. As long as we all play by the rules, we’ll get to enjoy the game.
